First Leicester Bus Depot - 2
First Leicester is the trading name of Leicester City Bus Ltd., a bus company owned by the First Group. In 2007 a new depot opened, replacing the former depot shown here situated on Abbey Park Road. This site has remained derelict ever since, and is currently pending redevelopment as flats and accommodation. This particular visit shows the a few of the large open areas where the buses would have been maintained and stored over night. As well as the cleaning facilities.
